After being negatively impacted by the devaluation of the ruble, cosmetics giant Oriflame has revealed its’ plans to speed up the level of price increases in Russia in the coming year.
Evonik becomes the latest supplier to the cosmetics and personal care industry to raise its prices, adding to the growing problem of rising costs that is affecting businesses throughout the supply chain.
Dupont Packaging and Industrial Polymers has confirmed price increases of up to 15 per cent price for its ethylene copolymer resins, widely used for plastic packaging for cosmetic products.

producer to announce significant across the board price increases
in the face of mounting costs.
Until now it has been raw material and chemical providers that have
been increasing their prices, but Germany-based active ingredients
player Symrise now joins the growing list.
